At the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate within the Knauss School of Business, our work is strengthened by colleagues who are deeply committed to student success and the power of professional connection. Recently, two members of our team were recognized with honors that reflect their leadership and impact on our community.

Jackie Greulich, associate director at the Burnham-Moores Center, received the Knauss Excellence Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication to students and her collaborative spirit. This year, Jackie played a key role in coordinating the largest mentorship program in Knauss School history, connecting 178 students with industry professionals who provide guidance and support as students begin their careers in commercial real estate.

She also supports the Real Estate Society’s student events, which regularly bring together students and industry leaders to build relationships and deepen engagement with the field. Jackie’s ability to meet students where they are, offer thoughtful guidance, and create personalized experiences makes her an invaluable member of the Knauss community.

Dr. Catherine Northcutt, MSRE program and industry engagement manager, was also recently recognized for her leadership in professional engagement. She was named Networker of the Year by CREW San Diego and 2026 Member of the Year by IREM Toastmasters.

Through her work with the MSRE program, Catherine focuses on strengthening connections between students and the commercial real estate industry. Drawing on her research in social capital, she helps cultivate mentorship, sponsorship, and professional relationships that support students as they build their careers.

Together, these recognitions highlight the culture of collaboration and community that defines the student experience at the Burnham-Moores Center.
